FPLC was formed in 1987 through a historic, collective corporate initiative — a true industry umbrella "Federation" driven by the shared commitment of Malaysia's public listed companies rather than by a single individual founder.
We exist to inspire and promote business sustainability across our PLCs community. Our members, listed on Bursa Malaysia, together advocate for the impactful voice of Malaysian public listed companies and shape industries towards sustainable and desired potentials.
Over the decades, FPLC has played a proactive role in establishing key institutions such as the Securities Commission, the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board, and the Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance.
FPLC is the national representative body for public listed companies in Malaysia, dedicated to fostering excellence, integrity and collective progress across the corporate sector.
To educate, promote and boost professionalism, knowledge sharing and competitiveness of Malaysian public listed companies towards world-class listed companies.
To inspire and advocate the movement of our members to encourage the healthy and sustainable business development in the Malaysian capital market, including its expansion in new and diversified fields of economic activities.
Our leadership team brings together decades of corporate, regulatory and industry experience.
